MARTIN LUTHER KING JR: A GREAT PEACE BUILDER
Martin Luther King spoke out for civil rights and non-violence. On August 28th 1963 Martin Luther King delivered his famous “I Have A Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. This is one of the greatest speech of all time. This speech was much more than a good speech. This speech is imbued with timeless values his life taught us – the values of Truth, Peace, Justice, Compassion, Dignity, Service, Humility and Courage.
EXCERPT From “I Have A Dream” speech-
“Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.”
“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed.”
With this faith,I dreamt that one day we will rise up and live out the true meaning of HUMANITY.
